1. POLICY STATEMENT
Beatz DJ Studios Limited is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all users, visitors, and staff. This policy outlines our approach to ensuring health and safety standards are met within our DJ and content recording studio. All users are required to adhere to the guidelines set out in this policy.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 The management of Beatz DJ Studios Limited is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and maintaining a safe studio environment.
2.2 Studio users are responsible for following all safety instructions and using equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
2.3 Any hazards, incidents, or accidents must be reported immediately to studio management.
3. STUDIO SAFETY MEASURES
3.1 The studio is equipped with fire safety measures, including fire extinguishers and clearly marked emergency exits. Users must familiarise themselves with the location of exits upon arrival.
3.2 A first aid kit is available on-site. Any medical emergencies must be reported to management immediately.
3.3 The maximum occupancy of the studio is [X] persons at any given time. This must not be exceeded.
3.4 Electrical equipment must be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Any faulty or damaged equipment must not be used and should be reported to management.
3.5 Cables and wires must be managed safely to prevent tripping hazards.
4. FIRE SAFETY
4.1 Smoking, vaping, and open flames are strictly prohibited within the studio.
4.2 Users must not obstruct fire exits or emergency access points.
4.3 In the event of a fire alarm, all occupants must evacuate the premises immediately and follow designated emergency exit routes.
5. NOISE CONTROL AND HEARING SAFETY
5.1 Users must adhere to responsible noise levels to prevent hearing damage and disruption to neighbouring businesses.
5.2 Ear protection is recommended for prolonged exposure to high sound levels.
6. HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS
6.1 The studio must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Any spillages should be cleaned immediately to prevent slips and falls.
6.2 Hand sanitiser is provided and should be used upon entering the studio.
6.3 Shared equipment such as microphones and headphones must be wiped down after use with provided sanitising wipes.
7. SECURITY AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
7.1 Beatz DJ Studios Limited is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Users should keep valuables secure at all times.
7.2 The studio must be locked when not in use. Users must not share access codes or keys with unauthorised persons.
8. ACCIDENT REPORTING
8.1 Any accidents or injuries must be reported to management immediately and recorded in the accident logbook.
8.2 In case of serious injury, emergency services must be contacted immediately by dialling 999.
9. REVIEW AND UPDATES
9.1 This Health and Safety Policy will be reviewed annually or as necessary to ensure compliance with current UK health and safety regulations.
